Technische Universitaet Dresden

With 35 000 students, almost 8 000 employees and 500 professors Technische Universitaet Dresden (TUD) is the largest university in Saxony. It has been identified by the German government as ‘University of Excellence’ among eleven universities.

TUD strongly benefits from its close link between teaching and research as well as interdisciplinary cooperation on national and international level (e.g. 70 university partnerships worldwide). The Power Quality research group belongs to the Chair of Electrical Power Systems and is equipped with everything needed to study comprehensively unbalance, harmonics and supraharmonics in the field and in the lab.
